Three departments allocate 65,000 pieces of central disaster relief supplies to support Shaanxi
Disaster relief efforts for the heavy rain and flooding in Shaanxi are continuing to advance, and the central government has allocated 65,000 items of supplies to support resettlement View rescue progress and supply deployment, and learn how affected residents can receive help as soon as possible
On August 3, the Office of the National Commission for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief and the Ministry of Emergency Management sent a working group to the disaster area to assess the damage and guide local relief efforts in response to the torrential rain and flooding disaster in Shaanxi and the impact of the ongoing heavy rainfall.
Based on the actual needs of the disaster area, relevant departments, together with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, allocated 65,000 central disaster relief supplies to Shaanxi, including tents, folding beds, blankets, family emergency kits, and other items, to support assistance for affected residents and the relocation and resettlement of people moved to safety to avoid danger.
At present, local disaster relief and assistance work is underway.
