Son Heung-min scores in two straight matches, LAFC coach says, “I always believed in him”

Son Heungmin led LAFC to a 31 victory over Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer (MLS) with one goal and one assist. The match was held on the 23rd (Korean time) at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, and Son Heungmin started as the lone striker, contributing to both the team's opening goal and an additional score. Son Heungmin found the back of the net with a leftfooted midrange shot in the 12th minute of the first half, and later also helped with Denis Bouanga's goal. In the second half, he also indirectly influenced the play that led to an own goal by the opponent. He played 72 minutes, was named the match's Most Valuable Player, and also scored in two consecutive league matches.
