Singer and broadcaster DinDin showed respect for rappers who have taken on variety shows, mentioning Defconn and Swings in a YouTube video.
In a video of ‘DinDin is DinDin’ released on the 5th, DinDin recalled how variety show activities were viewed in the hiphop scene in the past, saying it was not easy to appear on TV as a rapper. He said he did not receive support when he first started doing variety shows, but that Swings supported him.
DinDin also referred to the trend of rapper entertainers, calling Defconn the ‘first generation’ and jokingly saying that Sleepy, himself, as well as Hanhae and Nucksal, continue that lineage, drawing laughter.
