The National Flood Control Headquarters has activated a Level II flood control emergency response for Guangxi

Affected by the typhoon and heavy rainfall, on July 6, several reservoirs in Nanning and Guigang, Guangxi experienced emergency situations. Relevant departments immediately launched emergency response measures, and flood control and disaster relief response levels were raised in tandem. Zhang Chengzhong, deputy commander of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and Minister of Emergency Management, promptly directed the response efforts and held a video conference with the Guangxi side, organizing consultations and assessments with meteorological, water resources, natural resources, housing and urbanrural development, transportation, and other departments. The National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has raised its flood control emergency response for Guangxi to Level II, and the National Commission for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief has simultaneously activated a Level IV national disaster relief emergency response. At Guangxi's request, the Ministry of Emergency Management has dispatched two Wing Loong drones to support communication保障, coordinated with the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration to allocate emergency supplies, and sent 1,372 fire and rescue personnel, 270 vehicles, and 140 boats, as well as 350 professional rescue personnel from China Aneng Group, to the scene to participate in the response.
