Through asking questions, touring, and exchanging ideas, they deepened their understanding of the history of the Long March, and hope to share the red stories of their hometown with more people.
The report noted that this year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. Red tourism sites in places such as Yan’an have seen rising popularity, and young people are becoming an important group in red tourism. Data show that in the first half of this year, the popularity of red scenic spot ticket bookings rose 86% year on year, and orders from visitors aged 18 to 35 accounted for more than half.
In addition to visiting museums and former sites, young people are also taking part by hiking the Long March route again, reciting poetry, and filming short videos. As construction of the Long March National Cultural Park progresses, new formats such as hikingbased study tours, digital immersion, and redthemed performances are also giving Long Marchthemed tourism more ways to be experienced.
