The 2026 European International Defense Exhibition Opens in Paris

The 2026 European International Defense Exhibition opened in Paris, France, on June 15 local time. Affected by the current international situation, this year's exhibition has attracted more attention, with more than 2,600 companies from 68 countries participating, and it is expected that about 50,000 professionals will visit. The French Ministry of Defense showcased equipment such as drones, missiles, and selfpropelled artillery at the exhibition, and arranged for military personnel to provide onsite briefings. Several Chinese companies also took part in the exhibition, displaying products such as antidrone systems, radar equipment, and protective gear. French Defense Minister Vautrin visited the venue that day and said the exhibition helps industries from various countries exchange and cooperate. Ukrainian defense companies displayed equipment such as missiles and drones. Meanwhile, France barred Israeli exhibitors from displaying offensive weapons and closed some booths that did not meet the exhibition requirements. The exhibition will run until June 19.
