Writer Park Shingyu revealed the reason he changed the title of the series 'Speaking Dead' at the 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).
At a GV held after the screening at CGV Sopoong in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 11th, writer Park explained that the title 'Until the Morning Comes,' which had been known as the original title, no longer felt suitable for the work even as time passed, and that he eventually chose a new title. He said the core of the work is a story about retracing past events and searching for the truth, adding that the title 'Speaking Dead' aligns with that narrative.
'Speaking Dead' is a drama about forensic scientist Jang Jaewook, who begins with a confession and pursues the truth from more than 10 years ago. It stars Han Sukkyu, Jung Yumi, Lee Heejun, Yeom Hyeran, and Kim Junhan, and has also been invited to the competition section of this year's BIFAN and the Italy Global Series Festival. Episodes 1 and 2 of the eightepisode series were screened, and it is being prepared for release in the second half of this year.
