Liu Guiheng, Party Secretary and Director of the Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau, Is Under Disciplinary Review and Supervision Investigation

According to a September 20 report from the Chengdu Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Liu Guiheng, Party Secretary and Director of the Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau, is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and law. Publicly available resume information shows that Liu Guiheng was born in August 1970 in Rong County, Sichuan. He served in the military and later worked at the Jinniu District People's Procuratorate of Chengdu, the Chengdu Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the Municipal Supervision Bureau, among other organizations. He later successively served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Commission for Discipline Inspection, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chengdu Hightech Zone, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Working Committee, and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. Since September 2023, he has served as Party Secretary and Director of the Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau.
