Independent lawmaker Han Donghoon is reportedly set to publish a memoir related to the Lone Star international investment dispute in early next month. The book is said to contain records and reflections from about 20 years, spanning from his time as a prosecutor to his tenure as Minister of Justice. According to the article, after participating in the investigation into the Lone Star stock manipulation case in 2006, Representative Han filed a lawsuit to overturn the ruling in response to the government's damages award in 2022. It was later reported that the case came to an end last November when the Korean government won the case, and that he recently finished writing the book again after briefly putting it on hold to prepare for the election. The memoir is also expected to include the political disputes surrounding the lawsuit at the time, as well as Representative Han's assessment of them.
