The total number of talents in Tianjin Binhai New Area has exceeded 960,000, and coordinated talent recruitment across Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei has achieved remarkable results Driven by the dual engines of talent recruitment through events and policy support, helping high-end talent gather at an accelerated pace
The Tianjin Municipal Government Information Office announced on July 6 that, as of now, the total number of talents in Tianjin Binhai New Area has exceeded 960,000, including more than 600,000 professional and technical talents, 1,604 leading talents, and more than 20,000 Beijingbased talents who have long been employed in the New Area.
At the press conference, Binhai New Area introduced the key directions of its talent work, advancing talent aggregation around the main themes of coordinated development in the BeijingTianjinHebei region, policy support, and talent attraction through competitions. The New Area said that projects related to BeijingTianjinHebei now account for more than 75%, and that it is promoting crossprovincial coordination in talent and human resources services to improve mobility and convenience.
In terms of talent attraction methods, the New Area is attracting projects and talents through various types of competitions, including those for leading talents, makers, overseas participants, and challengebased project solicitation. Relevant data show that the maker competitions have driven the implementation of 836 projects, with registered capital exceeding 11.2 billion yuan; the overseas competitions have covered 21 countries and regions; and the leading talent competitions have brought in 265 highend talents who master core technologies.
Next, Binhai New Area plans to continue deepening coordinated cooperation with the BeijingTianjinHebei region, improve its talent service system, and build its talent chain around new quality productive forces, so as to further optimize talent policies and services.
