Shisir expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for its assistance at a time of crisis, and said that Nepal and China are both located in the Himalayan region and are both affected by climate change. She stressed that Nepal will not separately seek socalled "climate justice compensation" from specific countries, including China, but will seek compensation at the international level in accordance with the relevant mechanisms of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
