The Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee firmly supports the CPC Central Committee’s decision to place Liu Jianyang under review and investigation

On August 31, the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to report that Liu Jianyang was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and was currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. Provincial Party Secretary Xin Changxing presided over the meeting, and the attendees expressed their firm support for the decision made by the Party Central Committee and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. The meeting pointed out that this review and investigation reflect the clear stance of the Party Central Committee in advancing全面 from strict governance of the Party and upholding zero tolerance for corruption. The Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee stated that it would guide Party members and cadres across the province to align their thinking and actions with the spirit of the Party Central Committee, and continuously enhance political judgment, political understanding, and political execution. The meeting also emphasized that cadres at all levels across the province should draw lessons from this case, strictly observe Party discipline and the spirit of the Central EightPoint Regulation, establish the correct outlook on political performance, strengthen oversight of power and leadership team building, continuously advance the fight against corruption through deterrence, inability, and nondesire, and safeguard a political ecology of integrity and clarity.
