Former UFC champion Daniel Cormier said he did not publish viral screenshots that appeared to show direct messages with Eric Trump before UFC Freedom 250 at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The screenshots, which circulated briefly before being deleted, showed an apparent exchange about fighter injuries and whether any bouts were fixed. Cormier told Fox News Digital the messages were not real and said he had been hacked.
Eric Trump also said on social media that the screenshots were fake and claimed he has never spoken with Cormier. The controversy drew attention because the alleged messages suggested possible bettingrelated insider information, but both sides rejected the posts as fabricated.
