Sunburn brings St. James Town to life in a Toronto feature film See how this TIFF premiere captures a neighbourhood through its residents
A Toronto filmmaker has transformed the neighbourhood where he grew up into a feature film that is making its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie, Sunburn, is set during one of the hottest days of the year in St. James Town, a Toronto neighbourhood, and follows the story through the perspective of the area and its residents.
CBC's Haydn Watters visited Bleecker Street to speak with the director and cast ahead of the premiere tonight at TIFF.
