WISeKey Becomes WISeQey After BVI Redomiciliation

WISeKey has completed a crossborder restructuring that changes its corporate domicile to the British Virgin Islands and renames the listed company WISeQey Corp. The move became legally effective on October 1, with the Swiss company absorbed into its BVI subsidiary. The company said its operating headquarters and effective management will remain in Switzerland. Existing WISeKey ADSs on Nasdaq and Class B shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange are set to keep trading through October 2. WISeQey ordinary shares are expected to start trading under the WQEY ticker on Nasdaq and SIX on October 5. The conversion terms for current securities will also change as part of the reorganization, with ADSs and Class B shares exchanging into WISeQey ordinary shares under the new structure.
