Montreal police say at least one officer was injured during an ongoing intervention in the CôtedesNeiges neighbourhood on Monday afternoon.
An emergency alert was issued after police described the suspect as armed and dangerous. Residents were told to stay indoors, lock their doors, and avoid the area near De Courtrai and Trans Island avenues.
The police operation began around 11:30 a.m. and was still ongoing at the time of the report.
