OpenAI has introduced a new ChatGPT for small businesses program aimed at helping owners use AI for everyday operations and growth. The company says the initiative is designed to make it easier for lean teams to save time and work with a broader set of tools.
The program includes virtual training sessions, inperson AI academies in the US, new guides and customer stories, and access to partner tools and workflows from companies such as Dropbox, Shopify, Intuit, Slack, Atlassian, and Wix. OpenAI says the materials will focus on practical use cases across areas like accounting, marketing, ecommerce, and customer support.
The announcement also highlights ChatGPT Work, an agent that can handle multistep tasks and connect with business files and apps. OpenAI says small businesses can use it to draft messages, review trends, organize customer feedback, and support product or marketing planning. The company says the program is available now and will continue to expand through events, resources, and feedback from business owners.
