Polymarket hires Goldman Sachs veteran to lead institutional growth

Polymarket has hired Lisa Mantil, a longtime Goldman Sachs executive, as head of institutional growth as the prediction market exchange works to bring in more Wall Street trading activity. Mantil previously served as a Goldman partner and global head of the bank’s ETF accelerator, which helps clients launch investment products. Polymarket said her experience with institutions will support efforts to expand its business and deepen liquidity on the platform. The move comes as prediction markets continue to draw more attention from professional traders after growing quickly with retail users. Polymarket has also been adding executives as it expands its U.S. exchange and faces ongoing regulatory questions around event contracts.
