Quebec election campaign heats up as party leaders face key Radio-Canada interviews Affordability, tariffs and language dominate the race ahead of the Sept. 15 debate
The leaders of Quebec’s five main political parties are continuing their election campaigns on Wednesday, with the Oct. 5 vote approaching.
The leaders are heading to Quebec City for backtoback interviews on RadioCanada, a key stop as the campaign enters a critical phase. Issues such as tariffs, the cost of living, education and language have dominated the race so far.
Polls indicate affordability remains a major concern for voters, and the leaders are also preparing for their first debate on Sept. 15.
