A man in his 60s died after a scuba diving incident off Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver, British Columbia, police said on Sunday. Officers responded to reports of a diver in distress just before 10:45 a.m. at the park near the Horseshoe Bay area. Fellow divers, firefighters and air ambulance paramedics attempted to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said there were no early signs that the death was suspicious. The BC Coroners Service is investigating.
