Frederik Andersen expects fewer Oilers starts under Mike Babcock as Edmonton prepares a goalie rotation and pushes for a Stanley Cup run

Edmonton Oilers goalie Frederik Andersen says he does not expect to start as many games under coach Mike Babcock as he did during their time together with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Andersen, who signed a oneyear contract with Edmonton on July 1, said he believes the team will use a rotation that could also include Tristan Jarry and newly acquired Devon Levi. He said he is prepared to play when needed and help support the group over a longer season. The 36yearold veteran said Edmonton is trying to solve a goaltending situation that can help the club finally win a Stanley Cup. He pointed to the Oilers' recent playoff runs and said the team remains serious about contending. Andersen also said his past experience with Babcock was positive and that he is looking forward to working with him again.
