Montreal police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in a tent downtown on Thursday morning.
Police said they received a 911 call around 8 a.m. reporting an unresponsive person near De Lorimier Avenue and Logan Street. When officers arrived, they found the body and first responders confirmed the person had died. The victim was identified as 36 years old.
Investigators set up a security perimeter at the scene so they could search the area and gather evidence.
