The Trump administration on Friday released a new batch of declassified unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) records, including infrared military footage and a report on a 2015 sighting near the Pantex Plant in Texas.
One of the newly released videos, submitted by U.S. IndoPacific Command, shows a starlike object detected by a military sensor over the Yellow Sea in 2025. Officials said the description is not a conclusion about what the object was, and noted that the footage is being released with limited redactions to protect sensitive details.
The files also include additional infrared videos from the Air Force, Central Command and IndoPacific Command, plus a Department of Energy report on an object reported near the nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo. The Pentagon’s UAP office said it continues to review sightings for possible links to foreign activity, classified programs or ordinary explanations before labeling them unresolved.
