Possible measles exposure reported at Pearson airport and two flights

Peel Public Health says there may have been measles exposure at Toronto Pearson International Airport and on two flights on July 7. The alert is linked to a confirmed measles case and includes Flight BG305, which travelled from Bangladesh to Toronto via Rome, Flight AC1986 from Toronto to Moncton, and time periods in Pearson Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 between 1:11 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Health officials are asking people who may have been exposed to review their immunization records and watch for symptoms. Those at higher risk, including pregnant people, infants under one year old, and people with weakened immune systems, are advised to contact their local public health unit about possible preventive treatment.
