Home sales in the Vancouver area fell 9.8% in July from a year earlier, according to the local real estate board, after stronger activity in June. The region recorded 2,061 sales last month, which was also 18.6% below the 10year seasonal average.
Greater Vancouver Realtors said the benchmark price for all residential properties was $1,088,800 in July. That was down 6.2% from July 2025 and 0.9% from June 2026.
New listings totalled 4,991, a decrease of 11.5% year over year but in line with the 10year average. Total inventory reached 16,476, down 4% from a year earlier but still above the longterm average by 26.8%.
