Toronto police say a 57yearold man died after a stabbing near Steeles Avenue W. and Hilda Avenue in North York on Saturday night.
Officers were called to an apartment building just before 8:30 p.m. after reports of an altercation between two men. Emergency responders tried to save the victim, but he died at the scene.
Police later identified the victim as Albert Gundran. A 46yearold Toronto man was arrested and charged with second degree murder, and he appeared in court on Sunday morning. Investigators are asking anyone with information or video to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
