Céline Dion returns to the stage in Paris after six-year hiatus
Céline Dion returns to live performance with a sold-out Nanterre comeback show See how she moved fans with 26 songs after a six-year break and health battle
Céline Dion returned to live performance on Saturday in Nanterre, a Paris suburb, ending a sixyear concert break with a soldout show at Plenitude Arena.
The singer opened the concert with "On Ne Change Pas" and became emotional early in the performance as fans welcomed her back. She told the audience she had promised to return and sing again.
Dion performed 26 songs over more than two hours, including several of her bestknown hits. Her comeback follows a long absence from touring after she revealed in 2022 that she had stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that can cause stiffness and muscle spasms. She had briefly returned to the spotlight during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
