BIX Card Plans Expansion of Crypto Spending Across More US States
BIX crypto Visa card expands from 29 to 49 U.S. states Spend USDC or USDT with a self-custody wallet—watch for new card features
BIX says it wants to expand its cryptolinked Visa card from 29 U.S. states to 49 within the next six to eight months, pending regulatory approvals and partner readiness.
The card uses a selfcustody wallet and lets eligible users spend USDC or USDT for everyday purchases. Merchants still receive fiat through the Visa network, so the payment experience looks like a normal card transaction.
The company said the rollout depends more on compliance and banking partnerships than on technology. BIX also said it is working on additional features, including physical cards and account tools tied to ACH, SEPA, and SWIFT.
