OpenAI on AWS brings frontier models and Codex to enterprises at scale Speed deployment with secure governance, compliance, and coding tools on AWS
OpenAI said its frontier models and Codex are now generally available on AWS, giving enterprises another way to use its AI tools within the cloud platform many already rely on for business operations.
The company said the integration is designed to reduce common barriers to production deployment, including security review, compliance, procurement, billing, and governance. It also said Codex on Amazon Bedrock will bring its software engineering agent to AWS environments, where teams can use it for writing, reviewing, debugging, and modernizing code.
OpenAI said the AWS availability includes Commercial and GovCloud regions, and that it is part of a broader plan to expand access to its models through AWS. The company also pointed to future availability for Daybreak, a set of cyberfocused capabilities that would support secure code review, threat modeling, patch validation, and remediation guidance.
