Runway plans major London expansion
Runway chooses London as its European HQ, boosting UK AI growth with $200M+ Tap into the expansion driving jobs, talent, and deeper European client reach
Runway, a U.S. AI company backed by Nvidia, said it will make London its European headquarters as part of a major expansion in the UK.
The company said it plans to invest more than $200 million in the UK AI ecosystem by the end of 2028. Runway recently raised $315 million in a Series E round and was valued at $5.3 billion.
The move reflects growing interest from U.S. AI firms in London’s customer base and talent pool. Runway said it already works with major European clients and expects to expand further across Europe in the near future.
