Toronto Zoo asks the public to name baby wombat
Toronto Zoo wombat naming vote: help choose a name for the new joey Meet the baby southern hairy-nosed wombat and cast your vote by Sept. 30
The Toronto Zoo is inviting people to help choose a name for a baby southern hairynosed wombat recently born at the zoo.
The female joey is still spending much of her time in her mother’s pouch, but zoo staff say she is becoming more active and starting to explore.
The public has until Sept. 30 to vote on a name for the new arrival.
