Premarket movers: Lam Research, Intel, Datadog and others

U.S. stocks tied to semiconductors and software were active in premarket trading on Monday, July 6, as investors reacted to analyst updates and sector trends.
The iShares Semiconductor ETF rose more than 2.5% after a steep slide last week, with Intel up about 2.5%, AMD higher by 3%, and Broadcom up nearly 2%. Semiconductor equipment names also gained, with Lam Research, Applied Materials, and KLA among the stronger performers after Morgan Stanley raised price targets on each stock.
Outside chips, Comcast edged higher after Sky said it will buy ITV’s television business, while ASML rose 4% after Bernstein increased its price target. TMobile advanced after Bank of America upgraded the stock to buy, and Datadog fell more than 2% after Bernstein lowered its rating to marketperform.
