Crepeau and Laryea named to MLS all-star roster

Goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau and defender Richie Laryea have been selected for Major League Soccer's 29man allstar roster, announced Wednesday after their performances in Canada's World Cup run.
Crepeau, who plays for Orlando City, was chosen by Charlotte FC head coach Dean Smith. The 32yearold started every match for Canada at the World Cup before the team was eliminated by Morocco in the round of 16. Laryea, a Toronto FC defender, was picked by MLS commissioner Don Garber.
The MLS allstars will play a team of Liga MX allstars in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 29. The roster also features several other players with World Cup experience, including Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Sebastian Berhalter and forward Thomas Muller.
