Quebec’s election race includes 908 candidates across the province, with the five major parties each fielding a candidate in all 127 ridings.
According to CBC, the share of young candidates is lower than in the last election, while women make up 386 of the contenders, or 43 per cent. That is the same proportion recorded in 2022.
Advance voting is scheduled for Sept. 27 and 28.
