Temasek to open Abu Dhabi and Riyadh offices in Middle East expansion
Temasek expands to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh with new Middle East offices by 2027. Tap into the region's growth as portfolio firms and partners move closer.
Singapore state investor Temasek plans to open offices in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh by the first half of 2027, marking a major expansion of its presence in the Middle East.
The move comes as the region continues to attract capital, even as some Gulf projects face pressure from tighter financing conditions, weaker foreign investment, and fallout from the war involving Iran. Temasek CEO Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara said the region's economic transformation and longterm fundamentals remain attractive to the firm.
The new offices are expected to serve as regional hubs for Temasek and its network, with some portfolio companies also expected to colocate there. Temasek already has a broader presence in the region through its asset management arm Seviora, which opened an Abu Dhabi office in 2025 and partnered with Mubadala Capital.
