Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg plan Littlest Hobo revival

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are developing a new version of the Canadian classic The Littlest Hobo, with Bell Media announcing the project on Thursday as part of its upcoming screen slate. The revival is planned as an hourlong liveaction drama, with 10 episodes initially. It will update the story of the ownerless German shepherd who travels from town to town helping people in need, while keeping the series’ familiar theme song, Maybe Tomorrow. Rogen and Goldberg described the show as a childhood favorite and said they want to introduce it to a new audience. Production details, casting, and a release date have not yet been announced. The project comes through Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate, following the success of their comedy series The Studio.
