Man charged in fatal Scarborough crash
Scarborough crash charges follow a fatal head-on collision in May See what police allege as the investigation continues
Toronto police have arrested and charged a 39yearold man from Pickering in connection with a fatal crash in Scarborough that took place in May.
Police said the collision happened on May 21 at Sheppard Avenue East and Vandorf Street, when one vehicle crossed the center line and struck another headon. A 42yearold passenger died at the scene, and three other people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The man faces charges including impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death, and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm. The investigation is still ongoing.
