Twelve youths were taken to hospital after being injured at Cultus Lake Waterpark in Chilliwack, B.C., on Monday morning, according to RCMP and emergency officials. Police said the patients were in stable condition but had serious injuries. RCMP initially reported that 10 youths and two adults were transported to hospital, but later clarified that no adults were injured. The Coquitlam School District said the incident involved students from Minnekhada Middle School on a Grade 6 and 7 field trip. B.C. Emergency Health Services sent multiple ambulances and two air ambulances, and two of the patients were airlifted to hospital.
