Former Democratic fundraiser says party leaders hid Biden's decline

Lindy Li book details claims on Biden cognitive decline and Democratic concerns Explore alleged private doubts, party polling, and what leaders knew before 2024

Former Democratic fundraiser Lindy Li says she will detail in a new book what she believes Democratic leaders knew about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during the 2024 election. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Li said party figures privately questioned Biden’s condition while defending him publicly. She pointed to Adam Schiff as one example, saying he wanted Biden to step aside behind the scenes. Li, who is publishing a book titled "Unburdened" later this year, said internal concerns were shaped by party research and polling that suggested few Democrats could challenge Biden successfully. She also said Kamala Harris was seen as a weaker contender compared with other possible candidates.
