Nebius shares rise after Nvidia reveals 9.3% stake
Nebius shares surge as Nvidia reveals a 9.3% stake in the Dutch AI cloud firm Backed by Meta and major financing, the stock gains on growing AI infrastructure demand
Nebius shares jumped 17% on Tuesday after Nvidia disclosed in a regulatory filing that it owns a 9.3% stake in the Dutch AI infrastructure company.
The Amsterdambased firm has become one of Europe’s most prominent neocloud providers, supplying computing power for artificial intelligence workloads. Its stock has risen nearly 250% over the past year, and its market value was about $46 billion on Tuesday morning.
Nvidia had previously said it would invest $2 billion in Nebius and work with the company on AI infrastructure deployment, fleet management, inference, and AI factory design. Nebius has also secured a longterm agreement with Meta to provide AI infrastructure capacity worth up to $27 billion.
Investors also reacted to recent financing news, including Nebius’s $775 million senior secured debt facility backed by GPU infrastructure and contracted cash flows. Freedom Capital Markets recently upgraded the stock to a buy rating.
