Barrie police investigate human bones found in Berczy Park See what investigators know as the autopsy and forensic review continue
Police in Barrie, Ont., are investigating after bones were discovered in Berczy Park last Friday by a worker in the area.
Investigators say the remains were sent to Toronto’s Centre of Forensic Sciences for examination, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Police believe the bones are human.
As the investigation continues, the east and west walking path entrances to the park remain closed to the public. Police say they will release more details when they are available.
