Montreal has closed CamillienHoude Way for two weeks to carry out road maintenance ahead of the UCI Road World Championships.
The closure affects the stretch between MontRoyal Boulevard and Remembrance Road and is set to last until July 10. City crews are fixing potholes and resurfacing the road before the international cycling event, which will take place in Montreal from Sept. 19 to 27.
Drivers who normally use the route to travel between the Plateau and CôtedesNeiges are being directed to use CôtedesNeiges Road or Park Avenue instead. The city has also said it is planning additional work on other roads along the race circuit.
