York Regional Police are asking for witnesses after a collision between a cyclist and a dump truck in East Gwillimbury on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the crash happened around noon on Doane Road, east of Warden Avenue, when the cyclist and the truck were travelling in opposite directions. The cyclist, a 58yearold man from Markham, was taken to hospital with lifethreatening injuries.
Investigators say the driver stayed at the scene and the case remains under review. Police are asking anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to contact them.
