Several stocks moved sharply in premarket trading on Thursday, including Generac, Lennar, Fluence Energy and Nike. Generac rose after announcing an agreement with Amazon to provide backup power generators for Amazon’s data centers. The company said initial deliveries are expected to total $2.4 billion between 2027 and 2028, and Amazon also received the option to buy up to $340 million of Generac stock. Lennar fell after reporting thirdquarter results that missed analyst estimates for earnings and revenue. Fluence Energy also declined after cutting its fullyear guidance, while Nike edged higher after appointing Alexandre Arnault to its board. Arm Holdings gained after its CEO said he was increasingly confident the company could meet demand for its new data center chip.
