Frozen juice concentrate returning to Canadian shelves

Loblaw says it will bring frozen concentrated juice back to its Canadian stores under the No Name brand, after the category disappeared when the last remaining domestic supplier exited the market. The company expects to stock White Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Limeade, Grape Punch, Fruit Punch and Berry Punch before the end of June. Loblaw said the new products will not come from a Canadian manufacturer because none are currently producing frozen juice concentrate in Canada. Frozen juice from concentrate had been sold for decades, but demand has declined over time and several brands were discontinued. Loblaw said it saw continued customer interest and began looking for replacements once existing supplies were set to end. Prices will vary by store, with the company expecting a starting price of about $2.25 for 283 millilitres.
