Police watchdog investigating fatal fall from Mississauga condo

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is looking into the death of a 35yearold man who fell from a condo unit in Mississauga on Wednesday.
The SIU said Peel police officers were present at the scene after responding to a call about a man in distress at a building near Eglinton Avenue West and Hurontario Street around 10 a.m.
According to the agency, officers entered the unit and tried to negotiate before the man fell from a high floor and was later pronounced dead in hospital. The SIU is asking anyone with information to come forward.
