Vancouver woman resolves missing phone dispute with Rogers and FedEx
Rogers missing phone delivery dispute: what Vancouver customers can do See how one customer got a replacement, credit, and help from CCTS
A Vancouver woman says she spent weeks trying to sort out a missing smartphone order from Rogers that was marked as delivered by FedEx but never reached her building’s concierge desk.
Renee Ron says she followed delivery instructions, filed a police report, and asked both companies for proof of delivery after being told the phone had been signed for. Vancouver police later helped confirm the signature was not hers.
Rogers later said its records showed the device had not been activated or used and that the company was working with the delivery firm to address the issue. The telecom company eventually replaced the phone and credited Ron’s account for two months, while also saying the package may have been misdelivered to a nearby building.
The case was highlighted by Global News’ Consumer Matters segment as an example of how customers can use the Commission for Complaints for Telecomtelevision Services when billing or delivery disputes are not resolved directly.
