Pineapple Financial brings $1B+ in mortgage records onto Injective Expand onchain verification, audit trails, and risk analysis for $10B in loans

Pineapple Financial has moved more than $1 billion in residential mortgage records onto Injective, a layer1 blockchain built for financial applications. The company says it plans to bring more than 29,000 funded mortgages, worth over $10 billion, onto the network over time. The onchain records are linked to the underlying loan files and are designed to support verification, audit trails, and risk analysis. According to Injective, the initiative began in December 2025 and now includes 2,079 mortgage records, up from 1,259 at launch. The project is part of Pineapple’s broader relationship with Injective, which also includes a $100 million INJ digital asset treasury. The company stakes INJ from that treasury, with Kraken acting as a validator for the holdings. The article also places the move in the wider context of real estate tokenization, which is expanding but remains a relatively small segment of the broader realworld asset market.
