Beam remote meetings now ship in six countries with dedicated hardware Book Beam-equipped spaces and cut follow-up meetings for clearer, more natural calls

Google says Beam is now shipping to customers in six countries: the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, and Japan. The company is supporting the rollout with 18 channel partners that can deploy and service the system. The article says Beam uses dedicated hardware to make remote meetings feel more like inperson conversations. Google also says its internal testing found improvements in connection, clarity, and fewer followup meetings. To broaden access, Google is partnering with Industrious to create an extended network. Starting in October, people will be able to book Beamequipped spaces at select Industrious locations in cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Palo Alto.
