Leafs winger Max Domi to miss start of training camp
Max Domi injury update: Leafs winger is out indefinitely after off-season surgery Get the latest training-camp status, plus a Tanev health boost and roster impact
Toronto Maple Leafs winger Max Domi will not be available when training camp opens next week, the team said Friday.
General manager John Chayka said Domi is being evaluated and remains out indefinitely because of complications related to an offseason surgery. The team said the issue first surfaced after a procedure on an injury that bothered Domi during the 202526 season.
Domi, 31, is entering the third year of a fouryear, US$15 million contract after finishing last season with 36 points in 80 games. Chayka also said defenceman Chris Tanev appears to be in good shape after being limited to 11 games last season because of injuries.
